Martin Clermont, founder and CEO of Will Solutions, has dedicated his career to making climate action accessible and local. Since the company’s inception in 1998, Martin has persevered despite limited resources, overseeing greenhouse gas reduction projects and accumulating carbon credits. His vision took off in 2019, thanks to the impetus of TSVCM<\/a><\/strong><\/span> <\/strong>and the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi)<\/strong><\/span><\/a>, enabling Will Solutions to achieve its first significant sales and multiply its turnover ninefold in two years.<\/p>\n

With over 35 years of experience, Martin has led innovative projects in the sustainable development sector in Canada and internationally, collaborating with the Secretariat of the Basel Convention and UNEP<\/a><\/strong><\/span>, and intervening in some twenty countries. His expertise extends to implementing audit methodologies, national hazardous waste inventories and formulating policies for environmentally sound waste management.<\/p>\n

Involved in carbon markets since 2007, Martin has developed a unique methodology for aggregating GHG emission reductions from small emitters, validated by the VCS program. He was behind the first project to be validated and verified in Quebec, marking a world first in the field.<\/p>\n

Martin Clermont is an engineer with two bachelor’s degrees from the \u00c9cole de technologie sup\u00e9rieure and a master’s degree in Environmental Science from the Universit\u00e9 du Qu\u00e9bec \u00e0 Montr\u00e9al. His determination and vision continue to inspire and guide Will Solutions to new heights in the fight against climate change.<\/p>\n

Claudia Lesage is responsible for supervising and coaching the GHG quantification team at WILL Solutions. She manages various carbon projects, including the Sustainable Community project, following the completion of audits. She is also responsible for validating and verifying the various reports produced as part of the various quantification projects.<\/p>\n

Given her artistic skills, Claudia is also involved in creating visual content for WILL. Claudia holds a Master\u2019s degree in Climate Change from the University of Waterloo, a first B.A. in Environmental Studies and Geography and a second in Fine Arts from Bishop\u2019s University.<\/p>\n

Pierre Gravel, chemical engineer, MBA, has been working for more than 35 years in the role of advisor for the acquisition, procurement, and management of commodity portfolios in the North American energy market.<\/p>\n

During his career, he has worked at \u00c9nergir, Groupe Noranda, Energy Advantage and Edison Energy as well as having his own company. In his role as an advisor, Pierre has helped several industrial and commercial clients meet and exceed their budgetary objectives of cost and consumption reductions, in addition to positioning them favourably to meet the challenges represented by climate change.<\/p>\n

Pierre brings in-depth knowledge of the commodity markets, marketing, portfolio management and financial settlement processes.<\/p>\n

Michel Dessureault has over 45 years of professional experience in management and accounting.
