The Marketing, Communications and Sales Team
This department manages two main areas: acquiring new GHG-reducing members in its Sustainable Communities, and accelerating sales of its high-quality carbon credits.
The team matches supply and demand in the voluntary carbon credit market. The team is also responsible for branding, media relations, the democratization of carbon issues, content creation, customer relations, strategic partnerships, and more.
Carbon Credit Sales Manager
Pierre Gravel, chemical engineer, MBA, has been working for more than 35 years in the role of advisor for the acquisition, procurement, and management of commodity portfolios in the North American energy market.
During his career, he has worked at Énergir, Groupe Noranda, Energy Advantage and Edison Energy as well as having his own company. In his role as an advisor, Pierre has helped several industrial and commercial clients meet and exceed their budgetary objectives of cost and consumption reductions, in addition to positioning them favourably to meet the challenges represented by climate change.
Pierre brings in-depth knowledge of the commodity markets, marketing, portfolio management and financial settlement processes.
Marketing and Communications Manager
Raphaël is driven by the desire to challenge the status quo to make the economy sustainable, regenerative and community-based.
He holds a Master’s degree in Strategic Marketing for Products and Brands. He is responsible for bringing the company’s offer closer to its stakeholders. Through a work of market democratization, positioning, image and innovation, he activates the relevant tools and techniques to accelerate the decarbonization of organizations and companies. Raphaël has transversal and complementary experience in different types of organizations (start-ups, SMEs, multinationals), sectors of activity (environment, business services, digital consulting, finance, hospitality, innovation) and in different positions (marketing and communications manager, digital consultant, account manager, brand manager, customer care).
Beyond his academic background in marketing, communications and branding, Raphaël also has knowledge in international trade, intercultural management, environment and circular economy.
Finally, if we had to memorize only 3 things about him: He is a digital marketing aficionado, a National Geographic fanatic and a futsal champ (at least, that’s what he likes to think).
VCU Sales Representative
Yue Wang is an entrepreneurial, result-oriented and well-organized operations/project manager with over seven years of experience in a fast-paced startup environment both in Canada and China. She works as Marketing Specialist at Will Solutions.
With her expertise in market research, business analysis, strategic planning and project execution, she provides business insights to support Will Solutions’ high-speed growth. Yue Wang holds an MBA degree from Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto.
Business Development Manager - Québec
Stanislas Saralta is responsible for business development in Quebec at Will Solutions.
He holds a Master’s degree in Marketing and Strategy from CESAG in Dakar, Senegal, and has been studying part-time since 2020 at Université Laval for an MBA in Digital Business Management. He has a dozen years of experience in sales, marketing and commerce, both internationally and in Canada.
At Will Solutions, he is in charge of recruiting and supporting our Sustainable Community members. He works closely with other departments to ensure that members have all the information and tools they need to join the Sustainable Community.
When he’s not looking after our members, you’ll find him in a park with his daughters or on a tennis court. He thinks he’ll be good at ice hockey… when he can stand on those ice skates.
Business Development Manager
John, a Concordia University alumnus and seasoned political science professional, has extensive experience in the retail sector, covering such diverse areas as food, pharmacy, home improvement, garden centers, home furnishings, appliances, pool/patio and building materials. His professional background includes B2B business development, strategic leadership and managing affiliations with independent distributors.
His expertise lies primarily in developing growth strategies and implementing recruitment initiatives. John is a strong proponent of the “Challenger” sales approach, where he adopts the role of educator, personalizer and confident guide throughout the decision-making process, which invariably leads to successful deals.
He is enthusiastic about applying his proven formula of data, insight and diligence to strengthen recruitment efforts in Quebec and Ontario’s Sustainable Communities, in the SME sector and with business owners.
