About Carbone Boreal :

Carbone Boreal is an initiative of the University of Quebec in Chicoutimi (UQAC) that combines scientific research and reforestation. Trees are planted in areas where the boreal forest does not regenerate naturally. These plantations, validated by the Canadian Standards Association (CSA) and verified by Bureau de normalisation du Québec (BNQ) to ISO 14064, are protected from logging and support research projects in partnership with the Ministry of Forests.
