Today, Verra received two Environmental Finance Awards for 2021. The annual awards recognize and reward the work of voluntary carbon market practitioners and highlight best practices and thought leadership in the world of carbon offsets.
The two awards won by Verra are:
- Best GHG crediting program for the Verified Carbon Standard (VCS).
- Best Registry Provider for the Verra Registry
This is the ninth time Verra’s VCS program has won the “Best GHG Credit Program” (formerly “Best Voluntary Carbon Standard”) award. Verra’s registry won the “Best Registry Provider” award in its first year of operation.
Will Solutions’ Sustainable Community project is verified and validated under Verra’s VCS program.
